STUDY VISIT TO UTRECHT AND AMSTERDAM

The aim of the visit to the Science Park in Utrecht and VU in Amsterdam was learning from the practice and organization of the Research Support Office. The insight to this practice enabled us to implement valuable and successful support models into the program of the Office and insured guidelines for its operationalization. Besides that, the aim was to gather knowledge about possibilities and tools for the successful valorisation of scientific work inside, and especially outside the academic environment, and about possible models of cooperation and networking of young researchers and PhD students.

During our visit to the Science Park in Utrecht and VU in Amsterdam we attended the following work meetings:

Utrecht Holdings

  • What is the structure of our program, who are our stakeholders, how do we work, where do stand now, what are our successes?
  • What does IP management entail, what questions do the Utrecht scientists have on IP and how to help them?
  • What are our success stories and role models, how do we share our stories, how do we facilitate encounters between scientists and business?

Utrecht Science Park i VU University Amsterdam

STUDY VISIT TO HANNOVER

The aim of the study visit to the Institute for Philosophy at the Leibniz University Hannover was collaboration with leading experts in philosophy of science and especially social philosophy of science. During the one-month stay we acquired new skills and we got feedback on our research within the project.

Consultations and collaboration with the researchers of the Institute for Philosophy gave us the opportunity to learn about recent developments in the philosophy of science which enabled us to include recent debates in our research. We also attended useful and interesting lectures within the scientific colloquium in philosophy of science.
